• “The basic themes underlying the German Industry Park’s high-tech image are the flow of time as expressed by the gently undulating façade, and open space for active, creative work.”

    Kazuyuki Noro, Architect, Taisei Corporation

Building

The Architecture

With its gracefully undulating façade, the building of the German Industry Park reflects the winding course of the nearby Tsurumi River.

High-tech design blends with the surrounding natural landscape, and the dynamic façade symbolizes the flow of time and human activity. On the inside, the building combines elegant offices with highly functional R&D, manufacturing and warehouse facilities.

The light-flooded, image-enhancing entrance hall and an extraordinary bridge structure link together the building’s two wings and provide our tenants with a unique venue for events such as receptions and company presentations.

The architect who created the center, Kazuyuki Noro of the renowned Japanese Taisei Corporation, received an award for his work.

Accomodation

A Unique Combination

The German Industry Park optimally weds office space with R&D and manufacturing facilities and common areas.

The German Industry Park lets you accommodate all of your company’s activities under one roof: administration, sales and distribution, and production. On one and the same floor, you’ll find both elegant offices and highly functional WAM areas. You benefit from short paths for high efficiency.

The WAM wing meets all of the requirements you may have for your production and storage facilities: optimum ceiling heights and floor load-bearing capacity, compressed air, water and high voltage power outlets.

WAM

Optimal Floor Loading Capacities

The WAM wing is geared to meeting the special R&D, manufacturing and warehousing requirements of high-tech enterprises. Specifically, this means: ceiling heights of between three and five meters (depending on the floor) and a floor loading capacity of between 500 and 2,000 kg/sqm. In the office wing, there are 1,000 sqm on each floor that you can subdivide just as you wish into smaller units between 90 and 660 sqm in size.

  • Floors, walls and ceilings of exposed concrete

  • Plasterboard partitions

  • Ceramic tiles in washrooms and toilets

  • 2 freight elevators: inside dimensions and carrying loads:
    3.20 × 5.00 × 2.50m – 5.0 tonnes
    2.30 × 3.00 × 2.50m – 2.5 tonnes

  • Electric power: single-phase, 3 wire, 200/100V, 50Hz three-phase, 4 wire, 380/220V, 50Hz
